Sharon Larsen, FNP-BC

Sharon Larsen started her career as an Emergency Room technician with Northern Illinois Medical Center in 1990. In 1994, she joined Crystal Lake Fire and Rescue as a firefighter/paramedic. She then graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1997 from Elgin Community College and became an Emergency Room nurse. At that time she also worked as a flight paramedic with Flight for Life - McHenry for 4 years.

Sharon subsequently graduated Sigma Theta Tau from Lewis University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2001. She graduated as a member of Golden Key National Honors Society from Northern Illinois University with a Masters of Science specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. She joined Fox Valley Internal Medicine in 2011. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
